Touch & Inspect is a core element of fu-
ture-oriented factory automation. Its
combination of proven inspection tech-
nology, connectible modular compo-
nents and comprehensive data integra-
tion guarantees that production results
are shown efficiently, transparently and
in detail in real time. Connection with
other IT systems is much easier. The
EPROMI business intelligence software
makes all data available – throughout
the company and globally. Data ex-
change is easy across all decision-making
levels and in various degrees of detail,
depending on requirements and access
rights. Exchanging data in the opposite
direction is just as simple, giving the
inspection systems maximum adaptabili-
ty and easy data handling.

ouch & Inspect upgrades ISRA VISI-
ON's SMASH system, which has pro-
ven its worth in many applications, and
combines it with state-of-the-art infor-
mation technology. All system compo-
nents, i.e. lighting, camera and control
unit, are connected via Wi-Fi, so that the
lighting, camera and system as a whole
can be easily and flexibly controlled with
mobile communication devices such as
tablet PCs. The Touch & Inspect systems
can also interconnect with each other to
exchange data or make data available in
a structured database for later analysis.
The system’s core components – lighting and smart camera – can be directly
controlled, giving Touch & Inspect systems maximum adaptability
The result is a smart, modular, highly-
flexible system architecture that allows
the flow of information from inspection
to be viewed at any time, providing an
optimum base for decision-making. In-
spection results are displayed on the mo-
bile control unit so that the operator can
move about freely. The system architec-
ture ensures access to each inspection
