n Zumbach will showcase its extensive
portfolio of Dimensional Measurement
and Inspection Systems for Wire Draw-
ing, Wire Insulating and Cable Jacketing
processes as well as for Rod and Bar
Mills. In order to achieve the highest pre-
cision and best price-performance ratio,
different technologies such as laser
scanning, X-ray, ultrasound, light-section
technique and linear sensor technology
are used.
Exhibits will be, amongst others, new de-
velopments of super fast 3-axis laser dia-
meter heads of the famous ODAC ® fami-
ly, DVO 2 and DVW 1 oscillating devices
for ODAC® gauges, MSD diameter and
ovality gauges with novel linear sensor
technology, ODEX® combined diameter
and eccentricity measuring system,
CAPAC ® for in-line capacitance measure-
ment and FFT/SRL analysis; UMAC ®
WALLMASTER in-line ultrasonic measur-
ing and control system for concentricity
and wall thickness; RAYEX® X-Ray mea-
suring system for diameter/ovality, wall
thickness and concentricity for CV power
cable applications. Newly developed AC
and DC SPARK TESTER solutions and mo-
dular USYS IPCe data acquisition & pro-
cessing systems will also be on display.
For hot and cold rolling mill applications,
the revolutionary, rotating STEELMASTER
SMR will be presented.
SIMAC® 63 for in-line surface inspection
with Machine Vison, KW TRIO fault de-
tectors for lumps and neckdowns for
smallest products and PROFILEMASTER ®
PMM models for in-line profile measure-
ment of shaped wire complement the
wide product line.

n Anfang März startete die DFTA-Veranstaltung ProFlex in der
Hochschule der Medien in Stuttgart. Besucher konnten sich
rund um das Thema Flexo- und Verpackungsdruck informieren.
BST eltromat International zeigte auf dem Ausstellungsstand
die passenden Lösungen, zum Beispiel für Bahnlaufregelung
und Videobahnbeobachtung und gab Einblicke in das umfang-
reiche Produktportfolio beispielsweise für 100% Inspektion
Herausforderungen für Qualitätssicherung im Verpackungsdruck
oder Farbmessung. Bei regelmäßigen Vorführungen an den
Druckmaschinen der HdM konnten Besucher Qualitätssiche-
rungssysteme live erleben.
In Sachen Bahnlaufregelung präsentierte BST eltromat mehrere
Lösungen. Je nach Anforderungen an die herzustellenden Pro-
