Vision systems and AI
Needless to say, at Drink Japan SACMI will also be showcasing its cornerstone artificial vision systems: they’ve been adding value to SACMI solutions for a long time and are now more advanced than ever as they make full use of automation by maximizing synergy between traditional quality control and AI.
One of the latest innovations to reach the market is PVS Robot, which performs automatic off-line preform quality control. What’s more, all systems can be merged with the Classy AI software interface to allow automatic defect classification: this makes it easier to train workers how to use the systems and provides real-time access to process data and logged data.
