At the heart of the offering were CCM technologies for caps and IPS technologies for PET preforms, alongside an increasingly advanced digital ecosystem and the services provided by the SACMI Rigid Packaging Laboratory, which specialises in product development and consultancy.
Evolved sensor technology, process control
Among the innovations presented at the fair is Smart Pack 2.0: the new digital suite integrated in SACMI presses for monitoring and optimising production parameters. A tool designed to simplify operational management, support operators, increase quality and product continuity.
Vision systems and process control systems are also playing an increasingly central role in SACMI’s offering. Thanks to the integration of Artificial Intelligence algorithms, checks on caps and preforms become simpler and more accurate, automatic and predictive, with concrete benefits on efficiency and line management.
