The vast majority of the specialty compounds of Premix are exported from Finland to customers in over 40 countries and are used in numerous different applications, for a variety of industries. Premix Oy’s headquarters and modern manufacturing facilities are located in Rajamäki, Finland. Now, Premix has announced the opening of its new manufacturing facility in Dallas, North Carolina, USA. The plant at Apple Creek Corporate Center in the Charlotte region will nearly double the company′s pellet production capacity and offer its customers a better global supply of electrically conductive plastics.

The new plant will manufacture electrically conductive and static dissipative plastic compounds by using carbon additives-based plastic compounds. The compounds and concentrates are suitable for a wide range of processing types, with several base polymers (PP, PE-HD, PE-LD, PE-LLD, EVA and PE), and have high and durable conductivity and excellent dispersion. They are easy to process, recyclable, and resist wear and tear very well.
