Tosaf new heat screening masterbatches for PC & PMMA roofing

Tosaf is launching a newly-developed Near IR absorber masterbatches with improved color. IR7579PC and IR7581PC can reduce SHGC (Solar Heat Gain Coefficient) down to 0.5-0.6 while light transmission can be maintained at 70%-80% accordingly.
The new development that available in PC and PMMA versions provide a very pleasant appearance of transparent-bluish on one hand, and in the same time, maintain the high heat selective properties.
In the last decade, the most common and well known Near IR blocker was based on additives that provides transparent greenish color.
This appearance isn't desirable by many of the final customers.The new technology can be also applied together with the UV cap layer.
A compound that combined both: UV absorber + Near IR (with bluish undertone) can be a very effective solution for many PC sheet producers.
