The Reifenhäuser Group has substantially expanded its capacity in the United States to best meet the needs of its local customers. The long-standing U.S. subsidiary Reifenhäuser North America combines deep regional expertise with the technological strength and quality of Reifenhäuser machinery. Over the past 12 months, the organization has been significantly reinforced with the hiring of six new experts across sales, service, and customer care, strengthening its ability to provide direct, knowledgeable, hands-on support close to customers’ operations.
“For producers in the U.S. and Canada, local availability, technical know-how and fast response times are becoming increasingly critical,” said Marcel Perrevort, Chief Sales Officer of the Reifenhäuser Group. “By expanding our North American team, we are reinforcing what customers need most: direct access to experienced people who understand their market, their production challenges and their performance goals.”
Beyond its globally recognized extrusion technology, Reifenhäuser North America is a highly established local partner with 115 employees across the U.S. At its 60,000-square-foot facility located in Maize, Kansas, the company serves the U.S. market with dedicated sales and service teams. In addition, Reifenhäuser North America provides local development and manufacturing for high-quality screws, barrels, valves, and end caps for extrusion and injection molding applications under its sub-brand Reiloy.
This robust local presence, established already in 1961, bridges the gap between European engineering and regional proximity. Customers based in the U.S. and Canada benefit from fast, reliable and highly responsive local support while maintaining access to the technology, application know-how and manufacturing quality of the Reifenhäuser Group, which has been family-owned since 1911.
The comprehensive portfolio includes the distribution of Reifenhäuser blown film, cast film, sheet and coating lines, alongside high-performance components from the Reifenhäuser subsidiaries Reiloy and Kdesign – the global market-leader for blown film cooling, measurement and calibration technologies. By looking at the entire value chain – from initial consultation and dedicated U.S.-based project management to local field service and spare parts – Reifenhäuser North America provides a holistic approach that goes far beyond mechanical engineering.
To further drive this commitment to the U.S. extrusion market, Reifenhäuser North America has recently welcomed six new team members who explicitly strengthen the region's service and sales capabilities.
