At the same time, the focus is rmly on the future: for 2029, interpack is setting the course for the future with a new date and a new runtime. The next interpack will take place from 10 to 15 June 2029. This means that the world’s leading trade fair for processing and packaging will now be held in early summer and will adopt a new schedule: six days of the fair, from Sunday to Friday. in- terpack is thus re ning its format and responding to the trend whereby leading international trade fairs must now focus even more strongly on ef- ciency and high-quality networking opportunities. “interpack is the most important platform in its sector. Building on this position, we are consistently develop- ing the event further. We listen care- fully to what exhibitors and visitors need and are creating a format that will support their success at the trade fair even more effectively. This is the rst visible sign of that. Further innova - tions will follow,” says Thomas Dohse, Director of interpack, commenting on the plans for 2029. The change is based on in-depth discussions with exhibiting compa- nies and has been thoroughly dis- cussed with the interpack Advisory Board and international industry associations. It responds to the fre- quently expressed desire for a more compact event schedule, which fo- cuses on high-quality contacts and a more targeted use of time at the trade fair. By running from Sunday to Friday, interpack combines a wide international reach with greater ef - ciency for exhibitors and visitors. The early summer date ties in with the unique energy of interpack: the walkways, outdoor areas and the en- tire site will once again become bus- tling hubs of interaction. This creates an industry meeting place that further emphasises the festival-like atmo- sphere for the global processing and packaging community. Close collaboration with the industry and the ability to respond exibly to new developments remain key factors in interpack’s success. www.interpack.com INNO-Pouch 2026 – Europe’s Pouch Summit in Barcelona INNO-Pouch will bring the European pouch industry to- gether for the ninth time on 8 and 9 October 2026 – hosted by HP in Sant Cugat (Barcelona), Spain.
