With this decision, the family-run company is consistently continuing its planned generational change while strengthening its long-term management structure. The expanded management team stands for continuity, stability and sustainability within the AZO Group.
„The gradual transition of responsibility is a central component of our corporate strategy,“ explains Rainer Zimmermann. „Close cooperation across generations ensures that experience, values and entrepreneurial responsibility are preserved, as is the ability to provide new impetus for innovation and growth.“
Lukas Zimmermann has been working in various roles within the AZO Group for several years and is familiar with the company's international structures, markets and strategic challenges. In his new role, he will drive the further development of the group and be responsible for the long-term orientation of the company.
With this step, the AZO Group is underlining its commitment to acting in a sustainable, reliable and innovation-oriented manner as a family-owned company. The orderly generational change is intended to offer stability and planning security to employees, customers and partners alike.
