DOMO Engineering Plastics India produces DOMAMID® and ECONAMID® locally

Having set up its operations in India in 2016 this decision is the next step towards a local customer oriented policy. Tushar Parida, country manager DOMO EP India, underlines the importance of a local production: "Our products are widely approved by European majors and Tier 1 suppliers. Our customers in India, especially those in the automotive market, have been looking forward to a local manufacturing by DOMO".

Two global DOMO brands are involved: the DOMAMID® range of prime quality Nylon 6 & 66 grades, and the successful ECONAMID® range of Nylon compounds which are manufactured, as per local market needs, using high quality fibre feedstock. "Econamid® matches the need for ecological yet affordable products and raw materials without making any sacrifice whatsoever to quality. By using unique fibre feedstock, monitoring our energy consumption and using renewable energy sources we have managed to produce a top-quality green range of products.", Tushar Parida says.

DOMO Chemicals is a customer oriented, unique integrated nylon 6 player, globally active in the field of nylon 6 intermediates (caprolactam, cyclohexanone, phenol, acetone, ...), nylon 6 resins, nylon 6 engineering plastics, fertilizers, engineering plastics, nylon 6 packaging film and distribution of petrochemical products.
