Years of activity, technological development and innovation in the foam field have rewarded Union once again with another important “turnkey" contract for the supply of the extrusion line of over 250.000 m³/year of extruded foam polystyrene boards (XPS) for the construction field.
The project, intended for the European market, is a strategically important assignment for Union Officine Meccaniche s.p.a., which thus finds confirmation of the value of previous experiences made with the most important players in the XPS field, intended for the same purpose.
The supply includes all the necessary machinery and equipment, as well as complete documentation to assist the buyer in both technical and commercial evaluations, preparatory to the following EPC phase.
The FEED design study has already started, the contract ends by the end of the current year.
Union technologies for XPS equipped with big extruders, find more and more confirmations from the market and “this order confirms our ability to be competitive and always one step ahead”.
