These items are crafted for sports enthusiasts of any level and retailed exclusively through Decathlon. An exemplary product would be the new Quechua Passion sports bottles manufactured with Tritan™ material supplied by Eastman. Decathlon India chose Tritan since it results in appealing yet very simple products.

Quechua is the Decathlon brand for hiking clothing and equipment. The new bottles fit passionate mountain hikers as a glove. And not only hiking devotees — as sporty and rugged appearance of the bottles may easily attract any customer who seeks for quality, safe and durable products. Premium bottles made with Tritan are BPA-free and particularly smell- and scratch-resistant.

Mr. Deenanath Prasad, method engineer at Decathlon Sports India, said: "The project was a mutual collaboration along with the Eastman team. Our shared goal was to design the best-quality economical product for Indian customers and users."

Previously, Decathlon India sold imported Tritan bottles. Since this June, however, it produces the bottles locally for exclusive sale via the forty-eight retail stores the sports specialist manages throughout India.

The commitment of Decathlon and high quality of Tritan resulted in a perfect synergy for future success. David Bochot, product engineer at Decathlon, summed it up by saying: "The partnership to serve the Indian market with more durable and sturdy Tritan bottles is a win-win situation for both Decathlon and Eastman."
