The exhibition CHINAPLAS 2017 was held from 16 th to 19 th of May, in Guangzhou, on the territory of China Import & Export Fair Complex. At this exhibi- tion, which Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd ran for the 31st time, more than 3,400 exhibitors from all over the world demonstrated their products to more than 155,000 visitors. Our correspondent shared with us some of his impressions of this event. CHINAPLAS 2017 – the Key to the Chinese and Asian Markets W hen preparing to go to Guangzhou to yet another CHINAPLAS exhibition visitors usually check whether they’ve got their umbrella. But this time the Tropic of Cancer was merciful and there was no need to contend with tropical rain… Traditionally what makes CHINAPLAS unique is that it is the most notable event both for domestic trade in China and for international trade in polymer equipment and raw mate- rials. Several pavilions are taken up almost exclusively by Chinese products, and they are very crowded. Representati- ves of Chinese processing enterprises enquire about local equipment and raw materials prices, and these are quite affordable.
