Extrusion International 5-2026
62 Extrusion International 5/2026 RECYCLING And Lindner enables us to operate a highly ef cient and stable wash - ing process, which is essential when processing post-consumer materi- als, where contamination and vari- ability are inherent challenges." Eu- genio Bascuñan, Industrial Manager at Recupac The washing stage creates a clean and homogeneous material stream that integrates seamlessly with the downstream Erema extru- sion line, Lindner's long-standing technology partner in plastics re- cycling. "The quality of the nal pellet depends on how well both processes work together. It is not simply about achieving excellent washing or extrusion individually, but about maintaining a fully inte- grated, continuous and controlled process from start to nish using state-of-the-art technology" he summarizes. According to Recupac, the results are reected in both product con - sistency and operational reliability. "The implementation of this recy- cling line has represented a signi - cant step forward. Today, we oper- ate a far more stable process with higher cleaning ef ciency, more consistent pellet quality and great- er operational ef ciency" says Bascuñan, emphasizing that these improvements provide greater con dence in meeting increasingly demanding customer and industri- al application requirements. Lindner Expands Its Presence in Latin America Beyond the technology itself, both Recupac executives emphasize the importance of the close partnership established with Lindner through- out the project. "Local support has been essential. I would describe our collaboration with Lindner as one built on mutual cooperation and continuous support." The Recupac project reects a broader strategic direction at Lind- ner and Lindner Washtech, a spe- cialist in plastics washing technolo- gies that continues to expand its portfolio of solutions to meet the increasing quality requirements of recycled plastics. To support this growth through- out the region, the company estab- lished Lindner subsidiary in 2025, with headquarters in São Paulo, Brazil, under the leadership of Fred- erico Hartmann. The new subsidiary strengthens Lindner's regional presence by pro- viding local technical support, proj- ect development, commercial assis- tance. As the circular economy continues to expand and regulations increas- ingly promote the use of recycled content across Latin America, Lind- ner reinforces its commitment to serving as a strategic partner for the regional recycling industry.
