Based on these results, the company expects to close 2026 with revenue in the range of 200 million euros, accompa- nied by a signi cant improvement in pro t margins. From the early days to industrial scale Plastotecnica’s journey began in July 1976 thanks to Lo- renza Dal Prà and her husband Mario Iazzolino in a garage in Padua, where they started producing plastic bags for re- tail outlets and neighborhood stores. The family business, originally named “Plastotecnica di Dal Prà Lorenza,” grew, prompting the two founders to move from the garage to their rst rented warehouses and then, in 1981, to the new plant in Pernumia. In 1984, the owners decided to shift the business from producing bags for retail to supplying pack- aging for industry, particularly for major mineral water brands. This was a major turning point that led Plastotec- nica to grow exponentially and become the Italian leader in exible packaging. Industrial growth at the Bagnoli site and the newly formed ReFilm Having reached full production capacity at the Pernumia plant within just a few years, the company launched its new facility in Bagnoli di Sopra in 1992, where signi cant indus - trial development took place and where, since 2000, the corporate headquarters has also been located. In 2024, to - gether with other partners, Plastotecnica founded ReFilm in the Rovigo area, a company that produces certi ed post- consumer recycled plastic derived from used packaging, in- tended for the manufacture of high-quality products. “Reaching this 50-year milestone is a testament to the initiative and foresight of my parents, who were able to anticipate the needs of a rapidly expanding market,” says Luca Iazzolino, CEO of Plastotecnica and President of Con ndustria’s Rubber and Plastics Federation since 2025. “The success of our company has been made possible by the passion and motivation of our employees and partners, the support of our customers, and the trust of our suppli- ers and nancial institutions. To all of them, we extend our heartfelt thanks.” “To compete with exporting countries such as China, Turkey, and Egypt,” continues CEO Iazzolino, “we have de- cided to focus on high-quality products and a tailor-made approach, sharing our research and development with our customers to create customized solutions. To further re- duce our environmental impact and meet EU sustainability targets, we have always worked to reduce the weight of our packaging and increase the content of post-consumer recycled plastic in our products. These past few challeng- ing years have also prompted us to completely revamp our management team, which has an average age of about 40
