Ef ciency is now the ace, preci - sion the key. The new, modular sensor head design dis- penses with a complete housing and a hinged cover. The open sensor plate with a prede ned hole pattern makes it possible to position the cameras in a highly exible way – according to the sector-speci c setup. Up to 700 high-performance LEDs produce a homogeneous illumination eld with maximal light yield. The system’s intelligent software is key in making Pro lControl 7 XLine a high-performer. It forms the basis for the in- tuitive operation of the system and the time-saving au- tomated inspection processes. Pro lControl 7 PlastX for plastic extrusion: This pow- erful inspection system for plastic pro les combines best performance with outstanding cost ef ciency – features that make it the system of choice particularly in the win- dow construction industry. The complete, all-round in- spection process ensures the reliable detection even of the smallest surface defects and geometrical deviations, thus making an important contribution to the reduction of scrap and process costs. For the secure detection of grooves, a special software module has been integrat- ed. In its basic version, Pro lControl 7 PlastX needs only 4 cameras. This has been made possible by smartly com- bining optimized optics with high-performance camera elements, which can be expanded to 6 cameras with an adapted positioning to include the clamping dimen- sions for window installations.
