32 Extrusion International 3/2025 CHINAPLAS 2025 CHINAPLAS 2025 CHINAPLAS 2025, held from April 15 to 18 in Shenzhen, P.R. China, attracted global attention from the plastics and rubber industries. Despite facing global economic challenges, the exhibition, span- ning 19 halls with over 380,000 square meters of display space, was a major success, hosting over 4,500 exhibitors from around the world. Visitors gathered to explore groundbreaking technologies and solutions in plastics and rubber. The event saw 281,206 attend- ees over four days, marking a 13.29% increase from CHINAPLAS 2023. Among them, 68,542 visi - tors (24.37%) came from overseas, including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan – representing a remark- able 141.1% growth compared to the previous year. The show capti - vated attendees with innovations in multiple industries, leading to numerous business deals and ex- panding global networks. The exhibition featured 9 inter- national pavilions, offering visitors access to diverse business opportu- nities. With an impressive range of products – from cutting-edge tech- nologies to established solutions – the exhibition catered to various sectors, including automotive, elec- tronics, packaging, and sustainabil- ity. Overseas visitors expressed sat - isfaction with the exhibition's size and the high-quality products and solutions on display. Interactive and Digital Engagement CHINAPLAS LIVE enabled those unable to attend in person to en- gage with the show through live- streamed content, including in- terviews, activity highlights, and insights into the latest innovations. A notable new feature, AI: Shining Your Dream, offered visitors an in - teractive AI experience that added an exciting, futuristic dimension to the event.
