The maine processes, blown- and cast lm pro - duction, are presented in detail. In particular, the in uence of the processes on mechanical and opti- cal properties as well as costs are discussed. Subsequently, stretching/ orientation processes are presented, which bring further improvements of different properties. Typical examples are PP-BO, BOPE or PET-BO lms, which are often used in laminates. In a nal step technologies are discussed to enhance the barrier of polymer based lms. www.innoform-coaching.de
