HMG Extrusions Germany commissions a new screw & barrel plant

HMG Extrusions Germany is glad to inform its clientele of the decision to establish a new Limited Liability Company based in Cologne, Germany. The new plant will enable the production of quality conical/parallel twin screws and the corresponding barrels at highly competitive prices. The extruder components will have technical specifications as follows:
- Screws and barrels of up to 5 meters long, of any given diameter
- Screws made of 1.8519 steel grade, and barrels of 1.8550 one
- Both nitrided to a depth of 0.8 mm
- Molybdenum coated screws available with the latest Laser Welding technology, coating thickness 1.5 mm
- Hard chrome plating of screw flights or root optionally available
- Bimetallic liners for extra durability of parallel barrels available.

The advanced QC department of the new production facility will guarantee the highest possible quality of supplied extruder units and their conformity to regulations.
